I like to think of homeopathic remedies, i.e. their symptom pictures, as shapes or at least lines that go in this and that direction, curving, meandering, going off at tangents and returning, creating diversions.
And so it is with disease states - they begin in all manner of ways, suddenly, slowly, coming and going, stopping and starting, changing direction, changing organs and therefore symptoms.
This is why it is a fundamental of Hahnemannian homeopathy (what other kind is there?)to match symptoms with a remedy = the simillimum. It is merely (!) a matter of matching the shape or the line.
With this in mind it is also important to remember that an individual can present at any point of the journey along the line or within the shape. There are many bus stops at which the pathology will present itself, and left to itself, i.e. not treated with homeopathy, will go the whole journey towards complete ill health or incurable disease states.
So, no-one has to present with ALL symptoms of a remedy picture - they might come to see you at the beginning of a disease state, midway, two thirds of the way, even towards the end of the line, so it is vital that you can recongnise at what point each and every individual is at and then you won't preclude a remedy because it doesn't ALL fit the case but DOES match that which belongs to the individual AND matches that part of the remedy simillimum that will cure them.
