One of my (very well read) clients brought this book in to discuss some of the recommendations with me; so I read it. I was really impressed, and want to recommend it to you, too.
Its an Australian book, written by an Australian general practitioner who practises in functional medicine. (Naturopaths have a similar treatment philosophy, but we use the tools of herbs and homoeopathy as well as nutrition).
Dr Hungerford's language can get emotive at times, which tends to put me off, as I feel it dilutes the scientific message. But the book still contains a lot of valuable health and medical information that some of you may be seeking.
(Disclosure: I have not received any payment for this book review)
If you read the book, I'd love to know what you think of it, and what parts were most interesting.....just leave your comments below!
