This recipe is a modified version of the one found on 'The Preppy Paleo' website ( www.preppypaleo.blogspot.com .au) The Preppy Paleo is well worth a visit for other dairy-free and grain-free recipes.
This recipe makes about 27 biscuits. They freeze well.
250g (the whole jar) of Almond-brazil-cashew nut butter (ABC Spread) (hint: store this jar upside down to prevent the oil rising to the top and spilling everywhere when you take off the lid....)
1/4 cup honey
1 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup pepitas
1/2 cup flaxseed
1 cup macadamias
1/2 teaspoon vanilla paste
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon bicarb soda
Combine all ingredients well. Drop heaped teasponfuls on to a lined baking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees C. Watch them carefully, they will brown readily.
