It's that time of year again when our 'plastic' is likely to be stretched to the limit - Niccolum to the rescue.
Niccolum metallicum is all about conscious suppression on all planes. This is to the extent that the nature becomes plastic and malleable and unable to respond in any way except mechanical, as though the true self has oxidised.
Poor nickel - it is in the same element group as palladium and platinum and has to compete with them. It is neither colourful copper and cannot reach the affluent heights of gold or silver. It is considered to be 'false ore', 'german silver', and called nickel as a derivative of the 'devil' because of the ensuing disappointment felt when mining for more precious booty. Hence the suppression of the true self into something false or plastic.
Niccolum has a curious sensation - as if a sweat will break out. This comes when we get our credit card statements in the new year :-)
