Acupuncture can be extremely helpful for relieving symptoms of neuropathy, whatever the cause. (One of the nice things about acupuncture is that it has a separate system of diagnosis that doesn't require a medical understanding of the causes or mechanisms of a disease). I've worked with people who have neuropathy from diabetes, medications, or unknown causes, usually with quite good results.
Since you are in California, you have a better chance than most that your insurance will pay for this. I'm happy to help you find a practitioner near you if you would like.
Good luck, and let us know how it goes!

Good Morning Marilyn,
Thanks for your expeditious response!
I just attended a seminar on P/N in Santa Ana, Ca. hosted by a DC.--Dr Daniel Roney and signed up with him. He seems to have a grasp on the treatments, but I've been "hoodwinked" before!
I will advise you on all his different techniques and just maybe, we'll find the culprit and will be able to eliminate, or at least, slow the process.

I am 61 years old without Diabetes. I work out 3-4 times per week and maintain a lean BMI weight(23.7).
I have been diagnosed with P/N and no MD seems to be well versed in the treatment or causes. I have taken B vitamins along with many other Herbal supplements (including buffered C), all to no avail. My CBC comes back normal and rather than spend thousands of dollars trying a mixture is there some remedy that I am missing.
Thank You,
