My Thyroide TSH is to high how can I bring it down.

I have my thyroid radio active iodine to kill it and recently the doctor found that my level  of TSH is to high, what can I do to bring it down? I stop taking my sythroid untuil I get in to see my encologist, what will happen? I will be see ing him in about 11 days.
