Is there a faster healing process for a muscle sprain?

Posted by kk

I leaned over the office desk and tried to reach an object on the other side of it and possible sprain my body part right below the right chest while reaching it.  The problem was I don't remember if there was something else in the way when I leaned while I reach out.  It hurts the next day and now more than a week.  I try to use heated bandaid like salon pads and robbing herbal oil, but it seems the problem is still there.  I even took Motrin for 2 days now.  Is there a way to heal this sprain faster?

The first thing you always want to do is get ice on the injury.  It takes out the heat and the swelling.  I would also take an anti-inflammatory herb on a regular basis 2x per day.  If you need details, let me know.
