Is Anyone Offering A Natural Solution To Cure H Pylori?

Posted Feb 26 2009 8:28pm 1 Comment

If you’ve ever suffered the often very painful symptoms associated with an H Pylori infection you’d want to know all the available treatments on offer pretty quickly right? Particularly as the World Health Organisation classes this little known bacterium as the leading cause of stomach cancer.

The first stop on the road to finding a cure for most H Pylori sufferers is their medical doctor. Triple therapy is prescribed and if that doesn’t work then a second, or even third dose is prescribed. The doctor doesn’t really have any alternatives to offer. That’s not the doctor’s fault as they tend to only have antibiotics in their “kit bag” so to speak.

So what happens if the triple therapy doesn’t work? What alternative solutions are out there that are effective and don’t involve some nasty side effects? Well, I’ve been rummaging around on a couple of health forums and found out that H Pylori sufferers are trying the following natural options…

Mastic Gum

Manuka Honey

Matula Tea

The news that millions of us could be carrying this bug in our stomachs (without us knowing) and the horrible symptoms that it can cause means that I’m in favour of anything that helps to cure H Pylori. Having said that, we all know that prevention is better than a cure. Given that this bug is easy to catch is there a holistic program or a natural “lifestyle regime” that helps the body to arm itself effectively against a H Pylori invasion and who can we turn to for proper, educated support and advice?

If you’re a practitioner that is offering a natural solution to eradicating a H Pylori infection with advice on how to better arm the body against further infections then, don’t be shy, and let us know!!

P.S

If you feel you’re suffering from any of the symptoms then it’s worth contacting your medical doctor to get tested - a stool sample is recognised as the most reliable test.
