Gas, bloating, cramping, constipation, diarrhea....usually diagnosed as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and often a diagnosis of exclusion -- ie. there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with you so the diagnosis is IBS. There are some prescription drugs to treat this, but I have seen many people who were just told to "live with it". IBS is not something you just have to live with, though.
IBS is treatable with naturopathic medicine. It is most often associated with foods that are difficult to digest and/or weaken the digestive system in a number ways and also with stress. It is important not to forget that different people have different weak points in their system and what may be okay for someone else may give you a painful abdomen and send you running to the bathroom (or have you wishing you were).
