organic ground flaxseeds are an excellent source of fiber --- and fiber is very important to assist with hemorrhoids. be sure to consume enough water with seeds, or you can constipate yourself.
in a blender or vitamix, make a smoothie using coconut water, flaxseeds, hemp seeds, frozen organic berries (whatever you like), cacao beans, greens (i like vitamineral greens from health force super foods), and you can even throw some egg white protein powder in there (i use jay robb's vanilla).
coconut water is an excellent hydrator and will supercharge electrolytes. the other foods boost immune function and provide nutritional boosts.
if you prefer herbs, you could make a tea of horse chestnut or butcher's broom.
