Healthy Living - 10 Things Learned

I have enjoyed Meghan Telpner's blog and her book, The Healthy Cookie Unbaked, which chronicles how she healed herself from all sorts of sickness. Meghan was diagnosed with many scary health problems and instead of opting for surgery and pharmaceutical drugs, took off for California and embarked on her own personal healing journey that included dietary changes, yoga, meditation, and acupuncture treatments. The result is that today, she's a 'healthy cookie' and has made it her life's mission to teach others about natural health.

My favorite quote: "Four years ago, I owned only one cookbook. Today, I run a cooking school." 

Her post is a reminder that when we follow our intuition, follow our own internal compass, get still and quiet enough to hear that small still voice within...miracles happen.

Meghan posted a moving, inspirational post about 10 things she learned from having an incurable disease.  I read it once, then twice; I thought about how it applied not only to health, but to life in general.
