Like a steel mirror, scour off all rust with contrition.
Soul receivesfrom soul that knowledge, therefore not by booknor from tongue.
If knowledge of mysteries come after emptiness of mind, that isillumination of heart.
This week was at times an emotionally challenging week. For 3 days my nephew was home sick with walking pneumonia, my hula teacher had neck and back pains during class, then a friend's elderly husband was admitted to a rehabiltation hospital for physical therapy. He flat out refuses to take care of himself; hates vegetables, drinks only coffee, eats ice cream to substitute for lunch or dinner and has a total aversion to anything that smacks of alternative medicine. What a way to learn how to let go and let the Universe/God work its magic. It certainly brought new meaning to the words "giving healing when it is needed and desired".
This was also a week that helped me to reaffirm my commitment to healing practice while encouraging people to be conscious of the effects of their lifestyle choices. It also made me think about the time we spend in doing work and whether the work provides us with opportunities to fulfill our passions. After all, if we spend two-thirds of our lives working, why not do the work that is personally satisfying and meets the needs of others? Whatever your business is, it should be recognized for the integral part it plays in your life.
Healing practice helped me do my daily activities so that I can meet these challenging times with a calm and stress-free approach.
Be happy, be joyful, and enjoy your business. An important way to live a happier, more joyful, and longer life is to avoid stress. And the best manner in which to avoid stress is to work at what you truly enjoy.
I've posted a couple of song lyrics that really touched me and hope you enjoy. Also, I've updated my links along with one to my Passion for Reading list (also posted below). Please feel free to chime in with your favorites.
I joyfully acknowledge the boost of energy from you and welcome it with open arms. I also send you a boost with LOTS of love, light, and hugs. Help yourself to the boost I send to you and enjoy it fully. Enjoy every moment and live the passionate life you intend it to be.
Namaste, (I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells)
