The Guest House
Jalal ad-Din Rumi

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meaness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain all!
Even if they're a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whomever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

Today I send an energy boost embedded in this beautiful video to help you create some space away from the noisy, frantic world.  Relax, get quiet, and be at peace.  Slow down and reconnect with your inner self.  Reconnect with your breath, your heartbeat, and with Spirit.

The past 2 weeks were a fairly intense period of addressing healing requests with the spiritual realm...so anyone who is facing visitations by curious spirits, attacks by angry ones, and energy vampires...this one's for you.  It can be a challenge doing healing work, particularly in this day and age requiring focus, strength, flexibility and resourcefulness for ourselves and others.  So I honor you for your deep commitment and being part of the share.  I gratefully acknowledge the boost from you.

And on that note, I'd also like to say that humor is a vital element to maintaining your health and perspective on the world.  Add some dance, music, tea and chocolate and all is back in balance again... ^-^  So enjoy the previous posts - my nephews and friend sharing their musical talent, and some great dance choreography.

Live in every moment and celebrate the passionate life you intend it to be.

Aloha pumehana (with blessings, love and affection)!

Lydia
