Discover the Fortune that Lies Hidden In Your Stomach

Posted Oct 16 2010 8:32pm
Want to know how to put away at least an extra $400 a month, easy? It's not a lottery winning, but over time, it can add up to a vacation,  a lease payment for that new honda civic lemon car, perhaps a whole new ward robe, or you can pay top dollar to watch the Leafs lose another game.  Doesn't matter, it's irelevant. I am going to tell you how, BUT FIRST.................

Lately I have been on 3 major cleanses, candida, parasite, and essiac tea cleanse. Plus I take yoga, as if the other 3 weren't hard enough. What am I allowed to eat?

                                                      NOTHING

Can't eat this, it feeds candida, can't eat that it, feeds parasites, don't even think about going there, it feeds everything else!!

I have a diet consisting of vegetables and whole grains. My new best friend has been my crockpot, and I have developed a whole new appreciation for PUMPKIN and it's seeds (seeds kill parasites, and pumpkin has little sugar).

I do sneak in a coffee, just to keep my sanity. I eat one meal a day. But this meal is supremely healthy because I can not put ANY crap into my body, so as a result I feel full and fed. Nutrition deficiencies create hunger, the more malnourished we are the hungrier we become. Hunger is the body's way of letting us know we need more nutrients.

When we eliminate foods with empty calories, high calories, and little nutrition value (sugar, breads, dairy), we end up with only the foods that can nourish our body. The hunger response diminishes. We eat less.

It was on Dr. OZ the other day: The show was called " the 10 worst habits".

                                                                                       Bad Habit #3  was overeating

I can agree to that. We should also eat in accordance with our energy expenditure. If we are sedentary then there is no need to consume 3 meals a day. Perhaps one meal with some light snacks. But the majority of human beings are eating too much. I even noticed this myself. I was wondering what the heck I was eating all along.

Healthy foods are cheaper. I am refering to vegetables, whole grains, and lentils. Which is all I can have. I get plenty of energy because I allow myself an apple a day, and also there are a lot of hidden sugars in food. In a can of lentils you may find 3g of sugar. Not much but you add that up and you can have enough energy throughout the day.

One of the biggest changes is the extra money in my bank account. Changes in my weight, mood and outlook on life has also changed for the better.  So we need to re educate our taste buds and steer our nutrition ship in another direction.
