Complementary Vs. Conventional

By Carol Harblin (CHHC)

Complementary and Conventional medicine are two areas of health care that can help people, but conventional medicine wants to be the dominant one. Conventional medicine wants to resist complementary medicine and fight it at every cost.

Conventional med wants people to believe that there is only ONE way to treat people - and it's with drugs and shots.

This isn't so. There is a great big world out there with many methods of treating people without resorting to drugs and shots. When will people wake up?

So what's out there in the rest of the world?
  • reflexology
  • Chinese Medicinal herbs
  • acupuncture
  • chiropractic care
  • Macrobiotics
  • Ayurveda
  • meditation/yoga
....just to name a few...

Pills are only one way to look at a solution. It's not the only way. The conventional mindset has to shift away from that way of thinking.

Conventional medicine needs to expand their thinking and allow other methods into their practices. It should not be only pills. Conventional doctors should realize that if pills don't work then they should approach the diagnosis with another method like reflexology or acupuncture....or macrobiotics or Ayurveda.

The same way there are many methods of treating people medically, there are several ways to help people nutritionally.

Every person is unique and should be treated as the unique individual that they are. People should not be treated based on a general diagnosis.

Wake up America!
