Now here's a handy tool..... a free online calculator to assess your risk of a bone fracture from osteoporosis. You can find it here http://www.shef.ac.uk/FRAX/tool.jsp?locationValue=23 When you've put in all the data, the program will calculate the percentage probability of a fracture within the next 10 years.
By the way, question 12 is optional, and the calculator will still work without that data. If you scroll down you'll see explanations of what the other questions mean.
Remember that any diagnostic method needs to be cross-checked with other data to be accurate, so check with your doctor before making any conclusions about your bone health.
