Another E-Book on Herbal Preparations!

Posted Aug 12 2011 7:23pm

I am feeling particularly prolific this week. (I guess it’s because I’ve been jobless, with not much else to do except blog and write e-books, haha.) Anyway, I created an e-book that is supposed to be a companion to this post on herbal preparations for topical use , called, “The Holistic Mama’s Guide to Herbal Preparations for External Use.” It gives basic recipes for making poultices and fomentations, ointments and salves, and more. It even has recipes for making ointments/salves with lanolin, without lanolin, and with a combination of lanolin and oil.

Soon I’ll come up with an e-book on herbal formulas that you can use as the herbs in these recipes, but I need to finish up my series on herbs first (why I’m blogging about them in the first place, what their therapeutic actions are, which organ systems they have an affinity with, how to make up a formula, etc.). Lots of exciting content coming out next week, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, if you’d like to download this e-book, it’s FREE to my newsletter members. All you have to do is input your name and email address in the form in the sidebar of my blog, or just click here and do it. You’ll immediately get my OTHER e-book, “The Holistic Mama’s Guide to Herbal Preparations for Internal Use,” plus any other useful e-books I happen to write between now and the end of my Holistic Mama blogging existence, for FREE.

Thank you in advance for your support!
