What is a Community Director?
Wellsphere is a large network that is made up of diverse users from all over the world. So many people on this site are dedicated to health, and really want to help others with their expertise and experience. Within this network of passionate people are those who really want to give back to the site. For those who want to take that opportunity, there is the Community Director position.
A moderator is someone who is part of the communities, and acts as a liaison between the Wellsphere Team and the communities. They are there to support the community manager in moderating content, and act as sources of health information in their specialty fields. They are also there to help the Wellsphere Team more effectively communicate new site developments to users, and help the Wellsphere team understand the wants and needs of the community over time. Essentially, they want to help people use all that Wellsphere has to offer.
Who can be a Community Director?
Any person in one of the communities may become a moderator. As long as the person is active, and providing valuable and accurate content, they are eligible to become a moderator.
