Colon cancer treatment
They say that the secret to a long healthy life is a good clean colon. Colon cancer is one of the most common and most preventable cancers. The biggest factor in colon cancer is age; it is very rare to find colon cancer in someone under age 40. Most colon cancer is diagnosed in those over 60. Doctors suggest that once you hit 50 you should schedule a colon cancer screening.

Colon cancer prevention begins with eating a balanced diet and maintaining a healthy weight. An active life style will help to prevent colon cancer among plenty of other cancers and diseases as well. Colon cancer treatment can be extensive; there are three different standard treatments for colon cancer, surgery which is the most common for all types of colon cancer. Chemotherapy which uses drugs to stop the cells from dividing and/or kill the cancer cells, Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill cancer cells or keep them from growing.

Celiac disease is an inherited autoimmune disease where the lining of the small intestine is damaged from eating gluten and other products found in wheat, barely, and rye. This disease usually isn’t detected because some individuals may have little to no symptoms at all for example while some people caring this disease might have diarrhea others might be constipated. It is important not to ignore digestive problems and irregular stools, which can be symptoms of colon cancer, celiac disease and wide range of other health issues.

Most people tend to ignore the things that don’t cause pain. Sometimes little bumps or other things that might come up on our skin we think “Oh it’ll go away on its own.” We never see a doctor and we let the time pass. Colon Polyps tend to be ignored or go unnoticed since it tends to cause no pain. Some colon polyps can be benign but some can be cancer or become cancer so it is important not to leave any stone unturned when it comes to matters of the colon.
