Hi! Thanks for joining the No Donut Zone Team! It's hard to stay focused and eat the right things but if we stick together, we can do anything! I also have diabetes and heart diseese in my family! It is that hereditary gift that keeps on giving! I was able to lose 90 pounds in the past year and lower my cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure simply by eating better, eating smaller portions and exercising 5 days a week. If I can do it....anyone can!

I can relate to your problems with free food! Parties are the worst because they have such a great spread. When I try to justify eating unhealth food by saying, "Oh i'vev messed up already" or "oh i'll start tomorrow", I combat that thought by asking, "What if I told myself this every day? What would be the results of that?"
Diabetes runs in my family too. I understand your battles and hopefully we can support each other!
