I can relate to your problems with free food! Parties are the worst because they have such a great spread. When I try to justify eating unhealth food by saying, "Oh i'vev messed up already" or "oh i'll start tomorrow", I combat that thought by asking, "What if I told myself this every day? What would be the results of that?"

Diabetes runs in my family too. I understand your battles and hopefully we can support each other!

Thanks for joining the No Donut Zone Team! It's hard to stay focused and eat the right things but if we stick together, we can do anything! I also have diabetes and heart diseese in my family! It is that hereditary gift that keeps on giving! I was able to lose 90 pounds in the past year and lower my cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure simply by eating better, eating smaller portions and exercising 5 days a week. If I can do it....anyone can!

Good luck with your goals and keep in touch!
