During the birth of my second child in 2003, my epidural went wrong. Every day after that - wonderful day - my pain changed in severity, degree and symptoms. My symptoms did not present as "Normal" to any specialists - so I was given the loose diagnosis of Chronic Neuropathic Pain. This journey has led to much frustration, discrimination, hurt, discovery and sadness - I had to find a way for me and my family to cope with this hand we were dealt. In not only a positive way for us - but for so many others who suffer from Chronic Pain - but don't have the resources or fight that I have. In May of 2010 I started writing Chronic Pain Journal. It includes topics for the Patient, The Family and Friends of those with Chronic Pain. It is my mission to provide supportive, helpful, humourous and impactful articles for all of us. I hope that the articles and resources provide you with the support you need.
