why am I having lower calf pain down to the middle of my foot?

I am having pain from the middle of my calf down to the middle of my foot.I havent done anything physical to hurt it.It does not hurt to stand or walk on it but as soon as I sit down I have a constant dull achy pain..Any ideas?
