when I lay on my left side the pain is so intense till it causes deep pain in the calf of my left leg what is this

I can not lay on my left or right side it causes unbearable pain between my hip and lower back and unbearable pain in the calf of my left leg, than the pain may go on for hours, so I have to sleep on my back and that get awful at times, it makes me cry and scream the pain is that bad. I use to take pills for High Blood Pressure but I quit taking them it causes me to have total body muscle spasm, and I do have hypothyroidism, but ran out of pills have no insurence or medical care doctor cant afford it limited income. Had Cancer 13 yrs ago Nasopharnix went through all the treatments. So tell me what this sound like to you, I am a senior low income so what is affordable for me to do for this....Thanks
