When I cough, my lower left abdomen hurts. It doesn't feel like a muscle ache, but something inside. What is wrong?

I think I had the flu last week, although I recovered quickly. My fever left in one night and all my fatigue is gone as well. I am feeling all better except for the coughing that now is leading to pain in my lower left abdomen. It doesn't hurt a lot, but it is a pain I am unaccustomed to.
