i have moderate to severe pain in both hips when sleeping-- if I lay on either side. The pain wakes me many tiems during the night. I am unable to sleep on my back due to back issues--lumbar fusion. Before the fusion a year ago I had pain in right hip which was diagnosed as bursitis. This pain went away a couple of months after surgery. What is causing this new pain?
