I have been suffering from upper leg pains that wake me when I'm sleeping. I have had this condition for 4 years but it is getting worse - more intense and more frequent. The pain resolves when I get up and walk around. Sometimes I have back pain. I have tried calcium supplements, valerian root they seem to help for awhile but then the pain returns. Does anyone know what I can do? I exercise 4-5 times a week - walk, cycle strength train. I am a 53 yr old male not on any medications or have any other health problems.
