I was doing crunches about 3 months ago and remember really contracting my muscles hard in my upper abdomen. Since then I have had upper abdominal pain that radiates around to my back. It is mostly on the right side and sometimes feels like I have a rock right under my right ribcage.
I've had a chest x-ray, a CT scan with contrast, an abdominal ultrasound and an EGD. All of these tests have come back negative. Could I have ruptured a tendon or ligament or torn a muscle while doing crunches? Would it hurt for this long with no improvement? What test can I take that looks at muscle and tendons, ligaments, etc?
