The 4th of July is just around the corner. Maybe you have a new pair of jeans you were hoping to wear but they keep getting pushed to the back of the closet.
When you have a chronic illness and are uncomfortable most of the time it’s not very motivating to go out and purchase new jeans that need broken in that will only cause more discomfort those first few weeks. Here is an easy solution we read about in a magazine.
When you get them toss them straight into the wash machine with a 1/2 cup of white vinegar and a 1/4 cup of baking soda. The acid of the vinegar will break down the starch that the manufacturers add and the alkaline of the baking soda will make the fabric soft.
Now your brand new jeans can feel like your old favorites.
