Severe pain on the right side of my butt. It makes it hard for me to sleep and walk. What should i do?

This pain just came out of nowhere i was fine on Monday but Yesterday the pain just suddenly came. I have never had this kind of pain before and it is only on the right side of my butt. My legs are fine but the pain makes it hard to walk and sleeping is very difficult. What could be causing this problem and what should i do to cure the pain?
