Hi all 1st let me say I have broken ribs in the past and this may be just that, but have changed doctors since my last break several years ago and he thinks gallbladder or maybe liver. But, I am not having any problems with nausea, vomiting, or appetite. I also have osteoporosis which I had the Reclast IV infusion for about 4 months ago.
Now for my current symptoms. The pain gets worse with movement, smeezing, coughing, etc. and touching it. It feels very bruised but no outward (skin) bruising). I can trace the rib all the way down from my mid side to just at the end of the rib just across from my navel area and it is very painful to touch. The rib above and below the painful one is not, however. Does anybody find it strange my doctor would think gallbladder or liver ?
