Joint inflammation is something more and more people are experiencing and are being treated for. 1 out of every 7 Americans has some arthritis or joint inflammation. That’s over 37 million people. Joint inflammation can be caused by an autoimmune disease, broken bone, “wear and tear”, and infection (bacteria or viruses). By far the most common joint inflammation is caused by “wear and tear.”
Often this “wear and tear” is blamed on repetitive stress and/or age. The problem with this is that neither is the actual cause just the scapegoat. Rick Mathes does a great job walking us through the real causes of arthritis and joint inflammation and why most of the common treatments only offer (in a best case scenario) temporary relief in a post from his blog “Ramblings from Hill Country.” I encourage you to read the post and let me and Rick know what you think.
