Is there a difference in the blood test of a person that has been taking hydro codone for 6 months or for 2 days

is there going to be a different result for a blood test of a person that has been taking hydro codone for 6 months and a person that has been taking hydro codone for 2 days?  Or does the blood test only show that the person is taking hydro codone and it is in their system?
