When my son was 19 years old, he was in a devastating car wreck. Both upper femurs were broken and steel bars were inserted. These were later removed. He also had a fractured scapula and contusions of the lungs. Now 20 years later at 37 years old, he has been suffering severe neck pain, shoulder and arm pain and numbness and tingling in the arm. He also has limited up and down movement of his head, such as when looking upward or downward.
