I suffer from degenerative spine disease and had two back surgeries already and heading for more now. Vicodin or percocet causes extreme stomach discomfort - bad one - and also causes gas. I will need to be on narcotics for the rest of my life (I am 60). Does anybody have an idea which of the two gives you more stomach discomfort? What narcotic doesn't cause stomach discomfort?
