Just recently found a lump on my right rib cage, low down. It hurts when I touch it or when I lie on it. For the last two years i have been experiencing severe right side abdominal pain, I had my appendix removed, but when symptoms persisted, accompanied with blood and mucus in stool, and tight stomach cramping, I went back to the doctor and had a colonoscopy done. It didn't show any thing. I was then told that it must be IBS.
Now I have this lump on my right rib cage and the other symptoms are still persisting. Do you have any suggestions as to what this may be and whether I should see the doctor again?
