I have experienced back pain for the past year. It originally presented as pain in my left hip. After 2 rounds of physical therapy, anti-inflammatories and ice, it seemed better, but not cured. It continued to flare up at times with the pain now being primarily in the top of the buttocks . It would keep me up at night. Today I felt the first sharp pain down my right buttock and radiation g a ways into my right thigh. I tried heat, to no avail. I am using ice now, but it doesn't really seem to make it better either. Help
