I have pain in the mid-thigh area-halfway between the front and back of the thigh. It will start aching randomly. Feels bruised.

My doctor's PA thinks it is sciatica, but from what I read it doesn't sound like the same pain or area. I have no pain in the back of the leg or in my buttocks. It is only on the left leg.
