i have been expect severe ankle pain and it has been getting worst but it doesnt swell it hurt to move and rest my foot

i have tryed taking pain and inflam med that my dr give me and it doesnt stop the pain when i walk , stand and sit my foot flat to the floor i get severe pain around the whole and the leg part near the ankle i have tryed ice heat and rest still nothing.. please help i need to find a answer to stop the pain
