I have a lump on my lower leg. It burns and stings; is very painful to the touch. It is not hard but soft.

I am 70. as a teen I had an injury to this very spot. all my life it has been a sore place on my leg. But now it is very painful starting a few weeks ago when I had a blood pressure test on my leg and they wrapped the cuff right over top of this very spot.  Since then, the lump has appeared and the pain is now very high.
