Holidays Can Be Rough: Be a Winner and Breeze Right Thru!

Posted Nov 27 2008 7:13pm

I have RSD, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, and everyday is a struggle. But I find that holidays can be extremely taxing if you let them.

Do you find yourself feeling that way? I am unable to help with cooking, cleaning or having guests. It's all up to my husband and that can create guilt.

The best thing we can do is relax and enjoy ourselfs. You have no control over what you can or cannot do. Everyone understands and just wants to be with you.

So, if you start feeling stressed, relax. meditate, listen to some soothing music. Anything you find relaxing.

Don't let your illness, whatever it is, to ruin your holiday! Be a fighter ! Be a Winner!

That will get you through the holidays just fine.
