Injury happened so quick whilst playing football I cannot remember which way the ankle twisted but the pain was severe. It was iced and elevated in the first instance. For the last three months I have been routinely wearing a support which seems to help. The pain has remained at the same level now for some months. The injury seems to be centred just in front of my left ankle over the ridge of the foot and own the inside stretching under the foot. It is at it's most painful when I have no support and just let my foot 'dangle'. Most noticable when I go to bed and relax my leg and ankle in bed.
Any suggestions welcome. (Had physio. Some exersises that made it more painfull and just told to keeping stretching the foot).
