can coughing during a bad cold cause myofascial pain in the left chest?

I had a bad cold with a lot of hard coughing. I woke up one morning with a muscle pain in my left chest, under my breast. It's like a pulled muscle. My cold was over 2 weeks ago, but I still have the pain.
