Conclusion:
The theme of the entire Bible is the self- revelation of the God of love. We see a beautiful picture of His love in the garden of Eden, God commanded that "you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die" ( Ge 2:17 ). We are not prepared for what happens when God looks for Adam after his sin, calling out " Where are you?" God seeks Adam, not to put him to death, but to reestablish a relationship with him. God, the Creator, will not allow sin to stand between Him and His creation. God loves His creation so much that He personally bridges the gap.

That seeking and bridging reaches its greatest height when God sends his Son into the world to save sinners and to provide them with eternal life ( John 3:16; Ro 5:7, 8; Eph 2:1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ). John declares, "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us" ( 1 John 3:16 ). Because God is love, He is not willing that any person should perish, but wills that everyone repent and live! ( Ezek 18:32; 2Pe 3:9 ). How amazing is that!

God loves us more than we can ever fathom! However, His love for us is to fill us so much that it overflows from us to others, so they can begin to know and experience God's love. “May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.” 1 Thessalonians 3:12

Love, therefore, needs to be prevalent in our lives if we are to be called Christians. For how else can love be the greatest of Christian virtues if non-Christians cannot see love being demonstrated in our lives? 1 John 4:11-13

Application:
On Tuesday I asked everyone to look for evidences of God’s love for you all throughout the day, and remind yourself often that you are the object of His endless love. Tell several others during the day that God loves them. I asked that you share with us on Wednesday. Please feel to do so now.

I would like to borrow some questions from my sister’s Legacy Moments post this week. They work well with our lesson this week:

- How has God's love been made real to you personally? Have you shared that experience with your loved ones?

~ How are you an example of love to your children (or other family members)? Do they see it, not only in the way you treat them, but your husband, friends, strangers, even people you don't necessarily like? You've got the greatest role model to follow, Christ Himself. Look unto Jesus and follow Him. What footprints are you leaving for others to follow?

~ Are you praying for your children to love; to be selfless as Christ was selfless? What verses will you claim for them regarding prayer?

Ponder these questions and share with us if you wish.

Dear Heavenly Father, I desire to allow God’s love to fill my life so that I can love my brothers and sisters in Christ as well as non-Christians in an effort to bring them into a relationship where they can experience the greatest love of all – YOUR LOVE! May my life emulate YOU so that my children and others can see Your Love through me. May I continue to practice unconditional love to my children/grandchild along with other family and friends. Lord, may I continue to pray biblical vitues using YOUR Word for my family on a daily basis. Lord, I ask that I continue to show through example that prayer and YOUR Word is our life's blood as Christians.I pray that my life will be a Living Legacy of Your Love. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
