I have found an area just right of my belly button that is hard to the touch about two to three inches long. I thought at one point it was scar tissue from my appendectomy back in 1980 but it is higher than the scar itself. Do you think it may possible be a hernia? It does not hurt, but it has been there for atleast a week.
