Not sure what your question is, especially in this chronic pain community.  Bones are predominantly made of calcium so there should be no surprise that your ribs (which are bones) are calcified.  I'd be more concerned if they weren't calcified suggesting early osteoporosis at such a young age.  The cartilagenous ends of the ribs can become calcified over time, so don't be too surprised there either.  Your family physician can explain the radiologists interpretation in more detail.  The bigger question is why did you get the xray?  And from what chronic pain are you suffering?  Good luck!
