I have fibro too, and am on Lyrica and Cymbalta for pain now. The Lyrica seems to help a bit. But one thing that really helped my headaches was going on the gluten free diet. I used to get horrible migraines and since I've been gluten free I rarely get headaches.
Have you ever tried eliminating gluten before? It's not easy to do, because gluten can hide in all sorts of products, especially in condiments, sauces, and flavorings. But it might be worth trying....just a suggestion.
I hope you feel better soon!

I have pain throughout my whole body, especially my muscles and connective tissues. I also have migraines and tension headaches and the doctors just keep throwing pills at me, and I don't get any better. I've tried just about everything I've heard of for helping fibromyalgia and nothing works. The best help I've had so far is acupuncture and chinese herbs, but I have not been able to get in touch with my acupuncturist, so I feel helpless and alone with my health problems. I don't want to be over-medicated, especially since the pills don't really help me get better, they just give temporary relief from symptoms. I'm only 28 and I've been dealing with this since I was a teen. It gets worse the older I get. Any suggestions would be gladly accepted.
