Dinner tonight - Steak and potatoes with asparagus salad

Monday we had left overs. We really needed to clean out the fridge. I was so mad when I found out we let the green beans go bad! So out they went. When will we stop wasting food? We try so hard to eat everything we buy buy sometimes things just don't get eaten. )
So today we started on the food I bought the other day.
Tonight we had Steaks on the grill with baked potatoes and asparagus salad.
Then we had left over birthday cake and ice cream! The cake is pretty dry and dense now but it's really good with ice cream!
Asparagus Saladjust barely steam asparagus and cut in pieces coat with a little bit of balsamic vinegar (or vinegar of choice, I think rice vinegar would be good too) and add chopped red onion pieces (it was really yummy)
