There used to be some chairs in the library that I’m pretty sure were regifted from a local doctor’s office. Every time I sat in them, I smelled and felt “Doctor’s office.” It was awkward.
The travel clinic where I’ve gone is part of a larger healthcare system and all of the waiting rooms are together in one big lobby with smaller areas dividing which is for which department. Each window is clearly labeled so newcomers know where to go. I’m glad it’s never been super busy because I think some of those labels would be awkward to publicly sit underneath.
