For processed food, this is pretty darn good and not really bad for you.
Bell & Evans Gluten Free Breaded Chicken is not like the usual frozen fried chicken.
These are made with all Natural Ingredients, they are whole breast tenders, No chemicals or preservatives added, and they are tested for a maximum gluten level of less than 10 ppm. (ppm = parts per million)
Ingredients: Chicken Breast Meat Tenders, Water, Sea Salt. Breaded with Rice Flour, Water, Yellow Corn Flour, Xanthan Gum, Evaporated Cane Juice, Sea Salt, Non-hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Yeast, Ascorbic Acid, Whole Egg, Spice, Natural Flavor, Paprika Extract (color). Flash fried in non-hydrogenated soybean oil to set breading.
These were very tasty, they were plump and moist. I've never been impressed with frozen chicken products, but I'd heard really good things about these products so I decided to give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised. Plus, my gluten loving hubby liked them too.
I would buy this product again. Not very often mind you, I can make Chicken Tenders much cheaper, but these are nice if I'm in a huge hurry, or on days when I don't feel like cooking, these are so easy even my husband can cook them. LOL.
