In previous post, I mentioned that Tilt Table Test is not available in Qld, Australia.
My kind friend advised me today that she and her friend had Tilt Table Test in Brisbane this year. And her friend’s cardiologist had knowledge of ME/CFS.
It seems to be true that many doctors/specialists do not know about the test.
She found it was beneficial to have the test done since she was looking for support. The result was much worse than that she and her GP had thought of. Knowing the true position of own body would be also beneficial to manage the condition.
However, she needs to go through more tests before she could access to medication for her dysautonomia.
I wouldn’t get into pros and cons of having the test done. I just wanted to correct my misunderstanding about the availability of Tilt Table Test in Qld, Australia.
